The management of Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) has acknowledged an unqualified audit opinion received from the Auditor-General (AG) for the financial year that ended on 30 June 2020. The audit outcome has remained unchanged from the opinion received the previous year under review.

Upon receipt of the report from the AG, acting Chief Executive Ahuiwi Netshidaulu stressed the need to intensify internal control measures, improve management systems and ensure all officials are committed to the prescripts of the Public Finance Management Act and clean governance.

He emphasized the urgency to move towards a clean audit through the mentioned interventions.

On behalf of the Board, Netshidaulu thanked the team from LNW and most especially those directly involved in the audit processes for their efforts.
